Drawing with Fingernails; Teen Mom Portrait #1
September 10th, 2010I recently downloaded (the excellent free sketch app) Sketch Book Express for my iPhone and have been struggling in my attempts to draw with it. My biggest problem was seeing past my colossal fingers to where I was making contact with the screen: if I can’t see the point of contact, how can I control where I start, stop, and choose directions.
“Get a stylus, jackass!” you’re probably saying. Well, hey, fuck you buddy!
Actually, I figured out that I just have to use my fingernail – and that I needed inspiration for my experiments. So here I present the first in a series of portraits of my favorite non-Mad Men cast on TV, Teen Mom. First up is Gary, under electro-shock treatment:
